Rat b-NGF (beta-Nerve Growth Factor) ELISA Kit

Description: The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat NGF. When the sample is added, the NGF present binds to these antibodies. Next, a biotinylated Rat NGF antibody is introduced, which binds to the NGF in the sample. This is followed by the addition of Streptavidin-HRP, which attaches to the biotinylated antibody. After incubation, unbound Streptavidin-HRP is removed through washing. A substrate solution is then added, producing a color change proportional to the NGF concentration. The reaction is stopped by an acidic solution, and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
